Personalization: This book of hours contains four owner portraits of George Podiebrad, King of Bohemia (1458-1471), on ff. 3r, 12r, 33r, and 94v. The manuscript was given to the king by his wife, Johanna, Baroness Rozmital (d. 1475). The manuscript also contains heraldry on f. 3: above left: azure, an eagle displayed chequy argent and gules, tongued, clawed, and crowned or [Moravia]; above center: gules, a lion rampant tail forked argent, crowned or [Bohemia] beneath a crown or; above right: or, an eagle displayed sable, on its breast a crescent argent [Silesia]; lower left: barry azure and argent a lion rampant gules, crowned or [unidentified (Upper Lusatia?)]; lower right: argent [?], an ox passant gules [Lower Lusatia].
