Personalization: A male owner portrait appears on f. 114v kneeling before the Pietà. The male owner wears a suit of armor, helmet removed, and carries a shield (quartered, black eagle with red wings on silver ground in 1 and 4, 4 squares alternating red and silver sprinkled with white dots in 2 and 3). This shield is also found on ff. 13r, 81r, and 143r. On f. 115r, the initials L P encircled by a red cord appear.
